This afternoon is really gorgeous and feels like summer with temps in the 80s. It's going to be a hot and rainy weekend for the next few days. I've arrived on time for my lessons with had a five-minute late start. Instead of the regular warm-up with the backstrokes, Paige wanted to mix things up a bit. I've did two full laps of the freestyle with the front crawl without stopping at cones or the lifeguard chair. Then I did 2 laps of the breast strokes by stopping at the cone with a five second break at the wall, 2 laps with a three second break at the wall, and 2 laps with no breaks at the wall. Then I've finished it with two laps with freestyle and front crawl by stopping at the chair and then at the wall. As for the summer schedule, I'll now have lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 PM (just like when I had Rachel last fall). So I'll be leaving right after I have lunch. I'll be letting her know about my cortisone shots in June that I won't be able to swim on 6/12 and 6/26, but will do Thursdays only on that week.
