Long Weekend / myLot

I'm like eight hours from a three day weekend and I can't wait for this day to be over to start it. Do you have big plans? Do you even get the extra time off? This weekend in America is Memorial Day weekend. Monday is actually the holiday, it's a National holiday so many people get the time off of work. Memorial day is a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered, traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday in May. Here many have a cook out and it is often seen as the start of summer. Hopefully not to many people loose the sight of what it really means. I have some things planned throughout the weekend ending with a family cook out on Monday. Some of it is work around the house and some is to get out and enjoy the outdoors. It is suppose to be sunny and in the high 80's F (26C) so it should be nice to get out and enjoy the weather too. I hope you all enjoy your weekend and remember what this weekend is really about.

Since we have rain predicted in our forecast this weekend and next week we havent made to many plans this holiday weekend because of that issue. I have the day off from work but its not a paid day off for me, which isnt good and that is why i am bringing home work to do so im not missing to many hours because i really cant afford to have a bad pay check because i really need to have a good one to pay bills. NO weekend plans except to go see my boyfriend saturday and sunday and thats it for now unless the weather predicament changes for where we are.

Well hopefully it will at least give you a few hours of nice weather so you can get out and enjoy it.

@Bensen32 Im hoping we can get out and have a good weekend. Im not going over to see the boyfriend saturday night and stay with him then go home and come back Monday for the holiday and have a good day. Sunday night he is going with a friend to a party and i guess he doesnt want me there so im staying home. Usually the parties he goes to there are alot of things i dont want to be around that goes on.

@lologirl2021 Sounds like it should be a good weekend for you. Monday I will be doing the cook out with my sons and their girlfriends and daughter and her husband. Should be lots of fun.
