I spent the majority of yesterday offline.

Wednesday night was a bit of a rough one. My stomach started to ache around 11 pm. I can't really explain it other than to say it wasn't a nauseous feeling. I go to sleep at around 1 am every night, but that night I didn't sleep but maybe thirty minutes. Two showers and a lot of tossing and turning later, I finally took some benadryl to get some sleep. I really do try to stay away from any kind of medication. It wasn't until around 3 pm Thursday that I broke down and got someone to get me some Pepto. So Thursday was spent offline for the most part. I did manage some catch up sleep and it didn't bother my regular sleeping pattern, which is good. My stomach is better now, though it still aches a little bit. I was able to keep down a meal last evening, but wasn't able to finish my morning meal. Atleast it didn't make me nauseous, I just couldn't finish it. I don't even remember the last time I had stomach issues. I won't lie, I was a bit worried there for a bit, especially when I got fever chills from the pain. Taking a really hot shower helped though. Today will be spent catching up on all the things I should have done yesterday, as well as a family meal out. The next couple of days will have me mentally and physically preparing for a camping trip. I've already pretty much got what I need, but I am sure I will forget something if I don't spend the next few days analyzing and figuring out every eventuality. I'm planning a few things that can be cooked over an open flame, as well as snacks. I can't wait for this little adventure with my closest friends.

I couldn't sleep on either of my sides, the pain got worse that way. I am glad I am better. I don't feel any pain in my stomach now, though there was some pain remaining earlier today.

@celticeagle These things are scary though, especially since I have family that just can't catch a break health wise. I have a cousin that I am really worried about, and then I have an aunt who was diagnosed with something similar to @AmbiePam 's Mom.

I am very sorry you had stomach issues. I also was very bad yesterday, I was stressed, something made me very angry and this always causes stomach issues.

Emotions play such a heavy role on our overall health. I'm sorry you had to go through all of that stress and anger.

Bless your heart. That must have been miserable. The night before last my back was so bad I would have gone to the hospital if I thought they would do anything. When I looked down or turned my head my back would protest loudly. Who knew a back could be loud?

I feel for you. I have had back problems and they are no fun at all. I've also had neck prolems. It was miserable, and I am glad it is over.

I think, out of everything, gas pains and stomach issues are what I hate the worst. I think I could even take a sore throat over stomach issues any day.

Thank You, I appreciate that a lot. Yes, my family has a history of stomach problems. I guess I am starting to get that way myself. This will be my very first time camping.
