I just finished reading an article of yet another school shooting. This time in a middle school. I just can not believe that thee was a shooting at a middle school. I guess it was only a matter of time. A boy, they believe he was 13 walked into his science class who was taking a test, and began shooting. They think he got off 16 shots before the science teacher tackled him and stopped him. The teacher and one student were injured and taken to the hospital. There is no news as of yet of their condition. What I want to know is where the heck did the 13 year old middle school student get a gun?

It seems that these things are taking place nearly every day.

They locked down a middle school in Carthage a few months ago. Traffic was on the move. They were parents on way to school.

That is so sad, I hope that the injured pull thru, and that the rest of them get some councilling, I'm sure that they'll need it.

@Juliaacv I am sure they will. I heard the teacher is injured but ok. I haven't heard anything more about the student.

I just saw an update the teacher is doing good. Being hailed a hero. This is a shame.

I think he w3as a hero and it is a shame that he had to put his life on the line to protect his students from another student with a grudge.

They said he was wearing a trench coat. I thought they banned trench coats after what happened at Colombine. Why don't they put metal detectors in these schools?I don't know what the problem is. This has happened way too many times for them not to have them. How many people have to lose their lives before they start doing what they have to do to protect people.
