Hi Felix. I think the world has become violent because people have lost their patience, considering the technology we have right now. We find pleasure in violence online that we have this tendency that cause violence in reality anytime at any day. We resort to violence because we know we have easier access to it.

Yes, we need to work on our patience. Where does patience come from? But if mankind breeds violence and enjoys violence then why are people surprised when violent acts are done?

@AKRao24 I believe too that it should be like that - Live and Let Live. I hope people would not resort to violence, my friend.

Remember that Abel was an innocent victim. It may have started even before that? See John 8:44?

@db20747 There's all kinds of reasons for violence but the entertainment field brings right into our homes for us to enjoy.

I get frustrated....I have strong feeling that today the youth needs to understand how soothing is the peace and how detrimental is violence! Yes , as you say, there is just violence, violence and violence , nothing else than violence around us!

But peace doesn't hurt me or make me cry but violence does. When I'm out, I am not concerned about peaceful people saying hello and smiling but am on the watch for those that might hurt me.

@db20747 I wish we didn't have to worry about violence and people that might want to harm us but things can go bad suddenly and anywhere we might be.

Noah's days were full of violence, and God destroyed the people, except Noah and his family. Jesus told in Matthew 24:37-39 that our days, the time of the end of this system, would be like the days of Noah

Violence seems to make up over three fourths of movies, games and many other things. So many people are so unhappy with the lives so they turn violent and hateful. Children see a lot of these actions in their own homes. I wish there was a good answer to why there is so much violence out there. Violence has been around for a long time but nothing like it is now.

@1hopefulman Some people just love to cause problems for others. They must have a pretty miserable life to be this way.

I agree but who the heck is providing all those violent games and movies? Have you seen some of those TV shows like Arrow or what not that Marvel has been producing? And we wonder why kids are shooting kids.

I think kids should be outside in nature learning about how things grow and how wildlife interacts with each other @1hopefulman at least then they don't get crazy stupid ideas.

Sometimes I wonder, is it because the media is too developed? Almost all violence will appear in the media. It makes us feel violent everywhere. But when there was no computer, even if there was some violence, we don't know.

There are a number of factors and the fact that television and entertainment is often about violence and many video games are all about violence is not good especially for children.

@1hopefulman i think it may be due to a clash of ideas, opinions, beliefs and perceptions of anything that may predispose to violence.

We have always lived in a violent world if you really dig back into history. I mean, even back in medieval times and far back before that. The only thing that has changed is the medium.

@porwest I think we can do whatever we want to do. I can be violent or I can be a peaceful person. I can look for trouble or I can avoid it. I can watch the entertainment I decide to watch. I now avoid violent entertainment and movies. I look at the trailer and then decide if I want to watch it. Do you know the old Indian story of the two wolves fighting inside each one of us?

@1hopefulman Not sure if it is an outright refusal on anyone's part. I truly believe it is simple human nature. It's why it has been around since the dawn of man and will be around until the last man is standing.
