I'm a broken record but Motel 6 should start paying me instead of the other way round!
This will be the third time that I've booked a room with that very basics motel. I call it my tent though there are four walls around the bed and a basic bathroom. I book with this funky place cause it allows Sally pup in without a stare. So we're booked for next Wednesday. One more chore down and done.
The only thing that Sally has ever done to a motel is the time she was left alone in their bathroom. She played with the toilet paper too much. I had a fine mess to clean up but other than that, she has been good.
What is in Centralia other than our house? (Must go check out the renters.) I am hoping the shop that says it sells claw foot bathtubs is open and doing business. There is a historical park that has a 160 year old house in it. I must check that out. And trails and of course cafes with enticing menus. Hubby probably will visit his buddy in Olympia and I will go visit a sister in another town.
Green. There will be green. And gardens. I plan to get in some decent walks as we explore- or you can call it snooping if you like!

We stayed at a motel 6 when we went to PA over Mother's Day weekend, as my parents did not want friend's dog staying in their house. One time there was a dreaded "flea incident." Anyway, it was OK, I liked the TV and it had HBO, and other premium channels. No little soaps, shampoos, coffeemaker etc. and no breakfast.

@sallypup Oh we didn't get charged for the wifi. I don't think they had a pool though. I forgot to look.

@snowy22315 Yes Motel 6 is a tent. Just a tent. I generally bring my own shampoo or go buy some. Their little bars of soap are crazy cute. I don't watch the TV. I do find it totally weird in this modern age that Motel 6 charges for Wi-Fi and its not good service.

@BelleStarr Yes we found a renter for the house. She has shown me photos that make me think she is a great house keeper. She also talked about using Murphy's oil soap for the hardwood floor. Guess I will know for sure in a week!

@BelleStarr Yesterday I happened on a photo that the renter posted on Facebook. It showed them playing with the grandkids in the backyard of the house. The yard was nicely mowed. The place looked so pleasant and cared for. It made me smile all over.
