Cloudy With A Chance Of Rest

Last night I had to stay up late to make sure I finished washing and cooking the greens, poke salad, and I took a nice scalding hot soaking bath afterwards. Before I knew it, it was already 2 am. This morning its cloudy out but I know its still hot and the humidity makes it feel even hotter than it is, we are waiting for the gulf storm to get here, whether it will be a tropical storm or not we will get rain and a lot of it. So before I am trapped inside while God waters this area, I will work but in my own backyard, well I should say the dogs backyard, and mow it down but its not to bad and I have "no" grown up bushes to cut down. Even though I go out to work that does not mean that I neglect the housework, I still cook all my meals and hand wash the dishes, do the laundry and normal stuff. But I think I am one of a kind, since reading a few peoples posts some cannot keep the house clean and not work. I hope I continue the way I am, if its Gods will. I have to say that with all the work I have done the past week, I am not as sore as I thought I would be. A quick funny story and I will stop rambling. Yesterday I stopped at my sisters house before coming home, I was getting ready to leave and she walked me to the car. I gathered some trash and out it in her trash can. I felt something bite me on the back, probably a mosquito, and I asked her to hit my back to make it leave me alone. She took that boney little fist and punched me in the back as hard as she could! My body flew forward and I couldn`t get mad I just laughed and said " I meant with a flat hand like to kill it! not kill me." I know she did this that purpose, her defense was that I told her to do it. 30 years ago I would have pushed her down. Okay. Go have a wonderful day!
