How do you care for cactus

I have bought two cacti this morning. I don't know what kind. I don't know if I should keep it inside or outside under full sun or just morning sun. It looks better on the garden outside where it is now. But having it inside on the table would also be nice. So i would decide where to place depending where it would grow better in what kind of lighting condition. What can you suggest. How much sun can it tolerate. And Can you help identify these two cacti if you have knowledge of it.

It needs mild sun, sandy soil and not much water. Good Luck with your cactus. It is pretty.

Yes they are pretty. I'm trying to learn how to propagate them so I will not need to buy again

I would put it inside my house window whereby lighting of sun is visible.

@wongchoiyee do you have cactus also. How well it's it doing on full sun. Didn't it have leaf scorch

I live in desert area is Cactus can be seen anywhere and everywhere here. They don't need much care. All it need it to forget about watering it as it does not require much of water

Yes cactus is everywhere in the desert. They are quite amazing. Surviving the drought and hot sun.

That's beautiful. I haven't had a cactus like that, mine is with needles (you know the typical small, green, stout cactus hehehe) I placed it by the windowsill where there is sun all through out the day. I seldom water it too and it basically thrives on its own, I mean I don't give any special attention to it.

@hotsummer my cactus looks like that. I also have a big cactus planted on the ground outside the garden.
