You can also block them. Even if you get blocked by someone, you can still see their discussion and even "like" it but can't comment on their post.

When someone blocks you, you cannot block them back. You can see (and open) their discussions but you can't respond to them. The same applies to their responses and comments in other people's discussions. You cannot see any responses they make to your discussions. When you block someone, they are automatically removed from your 'followers' list (blocking and then unblocking someone is the only way of removing that person from your 'followers' list). When you block someone, you can still see all of their posts and respond to or comment on them. They cannot, however, see your responses or comments. I hope that's comrehensive enough to begin with! @JolietJake is the real expert on this subtect!

I hope the others have answered your questions. I've unfollowed and blocked some people, but still see their mugs floating around. Ugh!

I've been blocked, but didn't know it until I tried to comment on one of their posts, so yes, you can read what they posted, you can see others comments, you just can't comment.

i think you can still see and they can still see posts. just not respond

Blocking is an option and it could be done whether the situation is unavoidable. Blocking means preventing them from comments and responds and from our friend lists.

I have not realized where I have been blocked but I have seen the same. We will learn more here
