Like you I do other things while the commercials are on. Depending on if I'm watching live television or not I may pause something or fast forward.

My husband records shows on tv and then we fast forward the commercials.

i do watch most because i am afraid to go out of the room i might miss something. i can pause it but still have to leave it run when i return cause i don't want to pay extra for no commercials. i watch from the internet on my big screen tv.

Sometimes I miss something, I hit the rewind to catch it, but I leave out when commercials comes on

That is an interesting question. I used to get commercials when I watched things but now with Netflix no commercials and am so happy. I guess I used to watch them waiting for the program to come on or come back on.

I stay put and watch the commercials. If you need to do something while the commercials are on, you probably need to stop watching tv altogether during that time and go do what you need to do instead.

Usually I don't watch commercials and do something else when they come on. I find it's usually a good time for a bathroom break
