Good eve my friends, I have just arrived home 30 minutes ago. I and 4 of my high school classmates had a dinner date in one restaurant here in the supermall.
Before we went to Cabalen restaurant we had the groupie. My classmate EB took the shot.
As you can see, I was the only one who looked straight at the phone's camera while the 4 shifted their glance to the right (or left for you the viewer).
We had so much fun reminiscing the high school life. There was so much laughter in a rather quiet place.
Another reunion of high school batch 1975 is in the planning stage this December but my BFF said she will be back on October and the 2 of us will have our own reunion.
She is my other sister. I love her to the stars and beyond.
Do you have a BFF you love like a family? I have and she is LG.

yes hija, but the Cabalen experience is not good because all the viands were cold (not reheated) and the water was not cold.

@ridingbet They actually do not have a good service in Cabalen. No one in the crew even realized that the viands are not hot anymore po?

I have a couple old friends.. sometimes they move in with me.. .lol
2 of my oldest friends live with me.. well one now as the other just got married and has been living at his house..even though she is still renting a room from me..
These people are my family. I am closer to them then I am to my actual family and vice versa.

i consider my BFF as my sister. i love her and she definitely loves me too. when she comes home, she always makes it a point to see me. also, when she comes home on October, she plans that we 2 meet and have our own get-together

@ridingbet Sorry for your lost. Losing a close friend is not easy. I lost my cousin to cancer when she was just 13 years old. That was a difficult time for the family.
Oh, that's LG the one you mentioned in the post on the leftmost side. You all look so happy together. It must have been a great reunion.

I guess you could say that. I really don't have best friends these days. I have some friends and acquaintances and these two I would say are the closest to being best friends.

It is really so enjoyable to gather and have dinner with high school batchmates. It is also always a blast for me and my batchmates whenever we gather and have lunch or dinner.
Yes, I do have a bff and she lives in Canada. She and her hubby just came here last Holy Week. We had a blast with our other bff who is our townmate also.

The service is very slow. They refill the food so slowly the people have to follow it up several times.

i think Cabalen should be a complete restaurant for reunions but 3 of my classmates were disgusted. the foods presented were not heated and not refilled. the kare-kare had too much gravy and less ox tail and vegetables, even the shells (tahong) were cold. the cold water was without ice, and even though there is a policy of "no leftovers, no take-homes", my classmates left their plates still with viands in another table.
