We met! .. Yay!! ..

So happy to have met Judy ( @JudyEv ) and her husband Vince in person 
.. I wish we can post multiple photos but we can only post one here on Mylot ..I should have used the selfie stick to take
photos of the four of us.. lol ...
When I read that they are in Melbourne, I invited them over for lunch .. So glad that they're staying here in Melbourne for a week.. because today, Friday is my only time and they were also free to come ..
..
We had a lovely time getting to know each others .. We enjoyed listening to their stories of travel .. We learned so much from them.. I have deep admiration and respect for people like them who help the less fortunate in poor countries.. I hope to meet more people like them in the future.. they are inspiring .. I'm really glad that we had this chance of meeting in person .
Judy is the second one I met through Mylot .. The first one was RebelWoman .. Come to think of it, a lot of the really nice people I met in real life, I first met online .. ..
Thank you so much Judy and Vince for taking time to drive down and spent some quality time with us .. Take good care you two and all the best with your trip across to Tassie ....

Hi there! It was our pleasure to meet you and your husband for such a delicious lunch. Vince is already working out new recipes based on what you offered. We enjoyed hearing about your home in the Philippines too. Who knows? We might now add it to our wish list of places to visit. Take care.

@JudyEv oh, wow, a fiesta! so @epiffaniel is a self-taught chef too! some of the ingredients probably came straight from their garden. i really wish to see a homemade pavlova.

@hereandthere We were given a choice of three equally tasty dishes - a beef dish which is a favourite of Hazel's family (I know it had turmeric in it) served with sun-dried tomatoes and olives, a pork dish and chicken with a crispy coating that included coconut cream. We also had sides of beans with garlic and ginger and rice with coriander. And pavlova for dessert! My mouth is watering again!

Wow! So nice to here that you met @JudyEv and her husband. It was so nice of you to invite to your place and to have some quality time with them. I more or less interact with Judy and from the interaction we can make it out she is very gentle, caring and person with kind heart.
I am happy to know that this is your second friend from mylot with whom you are meeting the other being the RebelWoman. You are very lucky I must say @epiffanie !

@AKRao24 .. Yes, I make sure to take opportunities to meet people I got to know online .. to really prove that the internet is not a bad place to meet people like what some believe ... you are right , Judy is a real gentle lovely online and in person .. I am so glad that we met ..
If you ever visit Australia, especially Melbourne, we would love to meet you too ..

@epiffanie , That is so nice of you.Yes people exaggerate the things, if we know whom to interact with and where to keep the boundaries, I think internet is not a bad place at all. Like everything , internet is also having its own cons together with the pros!

oh... my.... god!!!! this is so cooool!!! i'm so envious! yes, i remember when @simplyd wrote about your meetup. that's one thing i like about the internet. we can get to know people through our words.
one way to post more pictures is to make a collage, or as suggested, insert them when you comment back on the responses.
