Since my son changed the operating system of the desktop computer, I had a difficult time logging in. My gmail account was also changed though I seldom use it because I have a yahoomail. I have a password for myLot. I have another for my yahoo mail; yet another one for my facebook account. I also have my phone numbers to verify my account on Yahoo. I have different passwords too on PayPal and a survey site. I keep these in one of my phones and they are encrypted. Do you have many passwords for your internet accounts?

I used to have diff. Passwords for each online accounts. And saved those info. on my phone. But unfortunately I lost my phone and I did experience a hard time recovering all of them until I got tired and decided to make a uniform password for all of it.

Yes, I have many passwords, because I have many different accounts (PayPal, Gmail, my Bank, several other sites that I visit, Facebook). It is never good to keep the same password for all the sites.

i agree. it is not good to maintain just one password because there are many scammers who can just rip your money away once they know your password. that is why i have encrypted my passwords in one of my phones--the one that i don't bring out of the house.

but do you remember at once when you are in your gmail account, in an instant, and you don't keep the passwords in a notebook?

but i hope your passwords are not easy to be scammed, because your accounts can be illegally used by people whose main jobs are to scam and spam, and worse, steal.

I have different passwords for the important accounts, but some of them tend to follow the same logic. It doesn't help much because I often forget them and I still have a hard time guessing them right. I should start collecting and encrypting them somewhere too.

I ever had same problem some years ago. Almost 2 years I did not connect to internet because I have to teach in rural area. I forgot some passwords of my accounts. Fortunately all of my accounts are registered on my phone number. So I can reset the passwords
