Money off Medical

A lot of you have trouble paying your medical bills, and I'm with you. Have you ever tried Goodrx.com? I'm on disability, but insurance only pays for six prescriptions (which I am grateful for). Sometimes they won't cover certain prescriptions no matter what. And from what drug makers charge, I almost understand. Walmart has a lot of prescriptions where they only charge four dollars. However, they can't help you with certain medications.
To make a long story short I was going to have to pay $70.00 out of pocket for a prescription, but I printed off a coupon from Goodrx, and it only cost me $26.00. It was free to sign up, and I wanted to make sure those who need it, knew about it.
Do others have similar things in their country? I know a lot have free healthcare, but I'm not sure how free they totally are.

Oh, definitely. I can't believe how much this helped me out. My pharmacist actually recommended it when she told me it was originally going to be seventy dollars. I asked her about discount codes, and she said to try GoodRX. You can request a card or you can print off the coupon. Or they'll text you the code. You type in the prescription name, and the site tells you how much it will be at each pharmacy, with or without the discount.

I have that card, but I haven't been able to use it really. It doesn't effect the cost of my meds.

@AmbiePam We have to pay the 10% of the amount up the a maximum of 500$ a year, this include also the doctors bills. As soon as you reach the amount of $ 500 you pay nothing more. I go to see my doctor very little, so I never reach my annual amount. My husband does in two months.
