How to make money on myLot

This, or some version of it, is one of the number one questions asked on this site by new users.
Engage in conversations.
Do not lecture.
Post interesting discussions and responses so that people will interact with you.
On myLot you earn from interactions of others to your posts. You also earn from other interactions when you respond and someone comments.
If people perceive you as a person who will engage in a discussion they are more likely to interact with you.
If you post something new, or unusual, people may interact with you.
I am not so sure people will respond when you ask a question that has been asked a million times. Or ask about opinions of the famous, and infamous. Or make random universal observations.
I make money on myLot by making friends, following them, showing up every day. I tell people about me, my day. Oh, you will not earn a living here, or get rich, no matter what others have told you.

I feel the newbies generally want others to do what work they should be doing themselves to know about the site - siva

I have been here 8 years and have seen a lot of newbies post asking how to earn on mylot just read the guidelines and you will find out you can’t just jump into a site without reading about it.

Yes, that's pretty much how it works here .. It is not just the cents that should motivate us to be here but the experience and the things we learn from others.. It would be nice to have quality interactions with one another ..

The last time it quit paying I tried to hang on, but the format became kind of TwitterFace and full of spam. I kept contact information from many of my friends, though.

I know that because we are international, sometimes things seem awkward to newbies, and some "discussions" do come out sounding more like a lecture. I love it when people relax and start to have fun and make good friends.
