Today is the first Sunday of the month. Our parents taught us to always participate in the Holy sacrifice of the mass especially on first Sunday's. It is 6:50am and the mighty sun is already shining his bright rays. From where I stand, the sun is about 45 degrees angled to the East. It is also at 30 degrees Celsius temperature. Do you have an activity this first Sunday of June?

I have two activities tomorrow - church, and we have Holy Communion also at our church, and my niece's high school graduation party in the afternoon. So, I won't be around until late in the day. It will probably be your Monday, but the time I get here.

@ridingbet It was an enjoyable day. Thank you. I cut my workout at the pool short this morning because my knee is so bad, due to Saturday's fall. I did hear from the doctor's office and they said the x-rays show extreme arthritis and no broken bones, so that's good.

@just4him well, with proper therapy, exercises, and medication, i believe the arthritis will be treated.

Good morning po, Ingrid. Yes po. Today is the burial of my brother’s partner sister. Then we might go to Kamay ni Hesus. Hopefully.

good morning hija. where is that 'kamay ni Hesus' located? do you have to climb a steep mountain to reach the place?

@ridingbet Hi po, Ingrid. It is located in Lucban, Quezon. Sadly, we were not able to go there and we headed straight in Liliw, Laguna. Yes po but you can bring a car going there. When you get there, there are steps that you have to climb in order to get to the statue I think. Have not been there that is why I really wanted to go there.

We already had the anticipated mass yesterday since my hubby needs to go to work today. Morning @ridingbet! So far other than doing the laundry, it is a lazy sunday for us

your husband works on a Sunday? that should be a 200 % extra pay for him.. our laundry is done every Tuesday. Sunday should always be a rest day for us and no heavy work should be done

A blessed Sunday to you. I am going to attend the Holy Sacrifice and receive Holy communion too. That is my necessary nourishment for the whole week.

Well, I am not that religious person going to churches. But I do things that spend my time with the family. It is quite toxic since my little niece with parents and I will travel to Valenzuela next Sunday. My little niece will have her summer vacation there. Then, I will go back after dropping them there.

as long as you offer your activities to God, kabsat, i think that can be another alternate for attending mass. remember the 'morning offering' prayer? i pray that every morning.

My children are Mormon and today is “fast Sunday”. The first Sunday of the month, they fast for 2 meals. My son cannot participate in fasting since he is diabetic. It can make him sick, but the bishop told him that since he has health issues he can forgo fasting.

is there any age limit for members of the Mormon congregation to fast? maybe 2 years old are exempted to fast?

@acrogodess so you are not a Mormon? how did your kids accept that religious affiliation if you are not a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church? is your husband a member?

@ridingbet I don’t know about the ages as I am not a Mormon. I am sure babies and small children are exempt. I definitely know that those who have medical dietary issues are exempt
