I always thought that notifications lasted for at least 2 weeks but I was on vacation for a week and although I didn't post I did make a note of my notifications. I realised when I looked at them yesterday that many of the early ones were missing, so although I have located a few people I have come to the conclusion that it is easier to start again with new discussions as it is very time consuming trying to locate the old ones.
I apologise to anyone I didn't get back to .. I hope you won't hold it against me and we can chat in the future.

That's good to know for the future so thank you. I have located a few of my regular people and replied but I think I will start afresh now.

@mlgen1037 The site I stayed on restricts photographing children so it was hard to get pictures of my granddaughter who spent most of her time in the pool.

It can't be helped and I doubt that many people missed me! Some people knew I was going away but I didn't realise that notifications only remained for 7 days.

I tried locating some of the old ones but it was so time consuming that I thought it was best to start afresh and it seems to be working.

if you know you're going to be inactive, you can go to your settings and activate the email notifications.
or, as owlwings said, go to "my responses" and "my comments"

I missed all you guys too. I was going to post a little but the internet was poor and it is shared on the site so I though I would wait until I got back. We had a great time apart from getting lost on the way back!

@nela13 Yes, the holiday park we go to wasn't far but I have a terrible sense of direction and didn't take my GPS. I will never travel without it again! For some reason I can find a place but find it hard to reverse the directions on the way back!
