Those days were gone when you take loans from Banks to set up factories and after running the factories for 7-8 years you declared yourself Bankrupt and thus making himself free from debt. Now more strict laws have come. You cannot declare yourself Bankrupt easily then Bank will get the hold of all your accounts, assets and not only that they can get hold of the assets of your wife, children persons partnering your business. So, things have been made tougher.

if you think about it in the business side, they are just protective themselves. Companies are becoming less charitable these days.

It should have been done long back so that people like Mallya might not have run after declaring himself bankrupt.
