Hello everyone. Greetings from a gray and cool Jersey Shore. It is currently 60 degrees F and it looks like rain. Not a very pleasant morning for sure. I just woke up a little while ago. The bad orange cat was hysterical by the time we got home last night after being left alone all day. He was howling his head off. This morning he starting trying to wake me up at about 5 am. I was exhausted from our New York City adventure, though, so I didn't actually get up until about 9. Yesterday was a lot of fun. We saw the Jimmy Buffett musical, Jimmy Buffett himself made an appearance at the end, and there was a Q and A with the cast and JB after the show. After that we had cocktails at a restaurant that was 48 floors up and revolved. That kind of freaked me out. The we had dinner at a barbecue place. I hit up LUSH to stock up on some stuff. Then we headed back home. Between the 2 sets of tickets for the show (my husband initially bought seats for the 8 pm show, not the matinee), drinks at the show, the train tickets, dinner, drinks 48 floors up, and my LUSH shopping spree, we joked that yesterday was a thousand dollar day for us. Still, we had a great time and it isn't like we do that sort of thing every month. Today it is back to reality. I am about to go do the grocery shopping. My husband claims he is going to paint but I'll believe that when I see it. What's everyone else up to on this Sunday?
