Sad I won't be calling them

Yesterday I ran into some one familiar on the barbershop. The person happened to be the owner of the water refilling business we used to call for decades. One day I couldn't call them either land line or cell phone. I had a little chat with them while his kids were having their cut. Turns out they're having less and less clients and cut their land line and lost their cellphone. Even recommended other refilling stations out there. He currently works as a Seaman, sad to know they're giving up the business slowly. Good thing Mom recommend a new refilling station owned by a public official months back. Honestly, I don't trust them, they don't refill your containers right away. One time I called a station and took them three days to refill our containers.

Hi LK. Seriously? They did make you wait for three days? I wonder why the refilling station you go suddenly is about to close? That is just sad.

Hello @mlgen1037 They were busy, him working abroad then his wife taking care of growing three kids. Not sure why they are not taking care of business. But it's really sad this is happening.

Giving up business is hard but sometimes situations make one to do so. May be he is unable to stand with the competition or may be incurring loss in the business.

Hello @anamika161088 I know for a fact that if he focus more on his business he can stand out since he's got loyal clients for decades. but he's too busy being sea and probably the earning on the business wasn't enough for their way of living.

I think that's the business. Some business is getting more and more prosperous, and some business is slowly disappearing.Oh What a pity.

Hello @caopaopao they used to dominate the entire Subdivision until they end up transferring to another subdivision which some how caused them to loose clients.

We don't get our drinking water from refilling stations. We use boiled water.

I'm pretty sure those refilling stations are just using tap water. The buildings are too small to have a proper filtration system.

sad to hear they are giving up after a long time. Maybe because there are a lot of booming water refilling stations that offers much better rate and service

Hello @rakski They still have a lot of clients that are loyal to them. I mean compare to the new ones they are even more service oriented. Another problem is that they are far away.
