Where is the Spring?

At 21st of this month is the summer solstice and it is supposed to be hot and warm so we can wear light clothes, eat ice-cream and feel the sun in our skin but there are no signs of Spring here yet 
and I am wondering if we are going to have Summer as the weather is really awful. I need some vitamin D 
and I am starting feeling depressed with all this rain and cold weather.
Please, if you see Spring, please tell her that we are waiting for her desperately.

@nela13 I think best because winters in my own country especially in my area goes in sub-zero but mostly stays in between 1-15. If I travel a 100 km north from my own place the temperature goes down to -10 or below to even more. I live right at the bottom of Himalayas.

The UK has been unusually warm during the month of May. We normally have a lot of rain and it is depressing but this year is different. We still get the rain but it is less than usual. I hope you get some nice weather to cheer you up soon.

@nela13 It's dull here today but not raining. My granddaughter came back from her school trip yesterday at the theme park Thorpe Park. She managed to get there and back and do the rides without being travel sick! I worried a bit as they left at 8 am and didn't get back until 8 pm so it was a long day and she was shattered when she got back but she did enjoy it.

@sprite1950 Glad that she had a great school trip and the weather helped.
My son is asking us to go to London's Harry Potter studios but only in 3 or 4 years we will be able to go.

I am pretty sure Spring is a myth. Because all we have is hot hot weather.

We have a crazy weather here in Manila. It is super hot the entire day. Then all of a sudden it will rain for aboit 15 or 20 minutes but the sun is still shinning and then after the rain it is still super hot.

@nela13 Oh bless you, this reminded me when we were still in our younger days praying for good weather just to be able to play outside in perfect weather.

More two weeks and my kids will have school summer holidays, but no signs of the sun around here.
