Cancel On Me?!

I got up early today so I could get everything finished I wanted to do today before going to work the rest of the week.
I just happened to check my cell phone, I don`t usually get calls much this time of the morning but I am glad I did.
The dentist office called and cancelled my appointment that was this afternoon! The reason was they only do cleanings on Wednesday through Friday now, please call and reschedule.
Really?!! they call and cancel a few hours before they are to see me? If they knew they only do cleanings for three days why not call me a week ago?
But on the bright side, I do not have to rush to get things accomplished today.

At least you have the whole day now and don't have to go to the dentist. Yes, they should have called sooner

They made it 6 months ago. Seems that they are short staffed.

Well I hope you were able to get your list accomplished & be happy you have the whole day now. That is odd they called you a few hours before you were expected to be there. I never heard of a dentist office that only does cleanings 3 days a week. Ours does it 6 days a week.

This is the clinic, they had a massive firing and quitting the last 6 months, new management. Its my impression that one dentist is running 2 offices, as well as others.

They could have called a lot sooner. But it made your day easier.
My morning is going good. Need to get dressed soon but these sweats are sooooo comfortable!!!

I understand what you are saying that they should have called before and not the same day you had the appointment? My dentist office clls to remind me of my appointment.

If you cancelled that late they have the option of billing you anyway. Too bad it does not work in reverse.

I told Tony`s heart doctor that once when he changed the appointment, they actually have it written on the back doors of all the exam rooms.

My mornings (Yesterday and today) have been crazy busy. Tomorrow i have to go ahead and do some filing and finish up some paperwork at work. Been really crazy busy and need to go ahead and get paperwork in order and things done for sure around here. My boss has been by the last days so i havent had to much time to be on here either but we will see how the rest of the week goes too. Have a great day

This made me smile, because I just called my dentist this week, to reschedule my cleaning! LOL At least it wasn't canceled for something more important, like a tooth ache.

Well they has me down for every three months because I am a diabetic but I told the lady up front 6 months.

@andriaperry A tooth cleaning every three months is ridiculous! They barely got anything off my teeth, after six months. They are sure making a lot of money, doing next to nothing at all.
