Here unless work offers benefits you have to pay dental, eyes etc out of pocket.
I got my teeth cleaned 2 weeks ago and paid $150.
I had 2 teeth that had 2 holes (not cavities) but food kept getting stuck. So I said just fix it and be done.
One on the top I had issues years ago and my old dentist fixed it. But didn't do it properly and destroyed the tooth (hence I switched dentists). So I went today got the 2 teeth filled , xrays and this one tooth a cap on it.
Now usually it should be $780 but my dentist knowing I don't have benefits and paying put of pocket made a deal with me. Since I have been religious of going every 6 months and fixing my teeth.
The one cap is an experiment and he did it for free. It's a new product in the market. I just paid to fix 2 teeth and then 1 on the top he filled down plus xrays I paid $280. He wanted to see how fast he could do it for a later events clinic so I was the tester. With it 30 minutes he charged less.
So I was pretty happy when he handed me the bill.
