The Little girl in the picture is Mai, She was a 42 year old woman who turned into a Little girl. She is originally a minion of a Super villain and her evil boss wished on a magical dragon that he and his Minions will be Young again but the Dragon turned them into babies.
Years Later, She is 13 years old with her Adult memories Intact. Suddenly a 15 year old boy falls in love at first sight and he doesnt stop courting her. At first she tries to stay away from him because it is illegal since she is originally a middle aged woman and he is a minor. She always reject him but she does develop feelings for him.
Biologically they are technically the same age but she was originally an old woman.So it is illegal and against the law base on birth certificate.
If you are her , How will you handle the situation?

Trunks is in love with her. hahaha. Remember that it is rampant now - a cougar is what they call it. I think if I am her, I would not fall in love with a much younger man (like around 20 or more years my junior).

She cant fall in love with a man of her age neither because she have the body of a child. 
They did end up together when he grew up but she is like on her 60's then but at least finally legal. She said yes from his courting when he turned 30.

Wait for him to turn 18 at least. But yeah the age gap. If reincarnation is real and a person reincarnated retain their past life memory, it will be similar to her.

I disagree with you. It's their fault why they end up young in the first place. That wish they had to make Goku young back fired. I think you just don't like the fact that Mai had a second chance to be a hero and a lover of trunks. In the future you didn't see trunks having a girl friend. She was no longer following that alien looking leader of the red ribbon army and decided to follow her heart. More so when she learned how handsome trunks was in the future.
Besides, they were in the WAR when Zamasu attack earth and they probably met during the war. Can't blame them, it's destiny.

I think Mai is not really evil Pilaf is just a bad influence on her since he is her boss. But yeah in the future timeline Pilaf got killed by the Androids so Mai became a different person and Trunk's heroism resonates to her.
According to Toriyama, Mai is a Virgin. She was a conservative Military woman who works a body guard so she never had time for love. I found a Manga created by Toriyama that shows How Mai got young. It is in japanese but pictures and self explenatory. It seemed like Trunks fall in love with Mai as babies as when Mai turned into a baby, Baby Trunks saw Baby Mai.
