Everyday we struggle to survive the odds
No matter how much troubles and pains,
things get so bad
We make mistakes along the way,
We said words we did not mean to say
We hurt people and even our own self for a long time
We regret those sufferings we caused, and we managed to look fine
In our present life we want to move on But the past keeps on haunting usĀ
Trying to get the best of what we are, nobody we can trust
We look back and feel how bad it has been
Wanting so much to find a way to redeem
Time had left us torn and wounded
But the truth would never make us dumb-founded
The road may long, narrow and grassy
Our heart will guide us and the sun soon becomes shiny
God has taught us to forgive the way He does
He even offered His life and His Kingdom as a plus
Let us not also forget that we must learn to forgive others
Forgive our faults as well because that is all that matters
Life is too short to waste it in regret and desperation
There are moments that we must spend for jubilation
The road to redemption may long, narrow and grassy and seems so endless
Just believe in your heart because in there you will find goodness.
