Ban on Mylot

I still have to experience rude responses from fellow members much less "bullying". There are those whose directness might come off as being rude but it is their way of expressing their opinions. Since you did not provide some samples of rude response or comments from the person in question, I cannot form an opinion nor make comments regarding the matter. But I took note of this part of the post, "I'm not a coward and I don't indulge bullies. can one retaliate with the abuses by ALSO being abusive to the person?" There are ways of retaliating without being abusive. Have you tried humor? Perhaps a backhand compliment to this "bully".

As far as I know it's in the guidelines and one can be banned in mylot for that. But how does one define bullying and abusive behaviour towards another member in mylot? I think when you are attacked not only in the discussions but in private messages as well, then that would constitute as a bad behaviour that I would report to the admin for banning a member for good.

If you feel that you are being bullied and you that some have abusive words, you can always report them to admin. Reporting them or blocking them does not mean you are a coward. We just wanted to live our lives peacefully. Also I am pretty sure that you don't use abusive/hate words with them for them to reciprocate those

ignoring will suffice

So far I haven't seen any abuses or any rude language. But yet again I am new here.

I am kind of a veteran here and I cannot say people have not been rude to me. Earlier that used to affect me but now I just ignore and move on. You could do likewise. myLot is a happy place.

I haven’t had rude comments on my discussions.

i was blocked by one, and i blocked another one. if i am blocked, it won't matter to me because i have many friends here. to the person whom i blocked, i am quite sure the user has also many friends, so, there will be no problem at all. i don't retaliate too.

If you are bullied just block the person.

I had one person who in my opinion was a total idiot! A report to Mylot did nothing so I blocked this person. No problem for me!

I don't block other members here in myLot, I will just ignore them..

I surprised myself when I blocked a few people!!!! I'm here 4 fun and 2 make a few extra pennies!! Sometimes the comments R not what U expected!!!! If U feel U need 2 block B L O C K!!!!!!

blocking the person would always be the best option when you think you are being bullied. Good thing I haven't met a person like that here in mylot yet.

Just contact admins, dear, I find them understanding and responsive. Do not think much about such people, they are ill, only compassion. They are too weak to bear their problems, that is why they try to attack others.

Only one guy has been rude to me and of course he has no photo. I feel like instead of reporting they should be banned because that person might not be taking mylot serious and wants to act a fool.
