I have a traitor in my family. I trusted her. Respected her. Maybe this is the time "believing no one". She did choose someone who is not part of our family than me. And this person did something unforgivable to me. Then I told this to her about what this person did to me. She and her husband are the only person I told about it. And they advice me not to tell anyone because it will cause chaos in our family. So i trusted them. But then you found out that they still interacting with this person without my knowledge. I really disgust them!

No, I do not. Just because they are a relative doesn't mean they are a good person that you should always support.

Sometimes misunderstanding happens. Maybe it will get better with calm and open communication. Soon, maybe not now, but we pray for reconciliation of your family.

@Jfronda82 Thats great of you to say yes. Some will say firmly that no. But then there are possibilities. God has plans. Why it happened.

That depends on how the person treats you. What's the point of having a family if they treat you like garbage.

No, I do not believe the statement to be true. Some of the deepest scars I've received came from family. We have a saying in America that "you can't pick your family, but you can pick your friends." I don't find that totally true, either: you cannot pick who you're related to; however, you can pick who feels like family to you.

Hi Jovy. I do not really believe that except to a certain concept. Not always that are family will be there for you, only when they need something from you.

I feel your pain. It is hard to reconcile how family can cause such pain, but yes I still believe that blood is thicker than water. Family should be those who we can count on, but sadly ,it doesn't always happen..

Maybe the couple was just being fair with you both. I mean between you and the one whom you considered as a traitor.

@Jfronda82 i think i finally got what you mean and I respect it. I hope you can forgive yourself and forget about it. Cuz it will not make you go on with your life being happy if you still keep the hatred from the past.
