Second chances

I've realized that it's very hard to put myself out there when it comes to making friends that don't live in my online community. A few days ago, I reached out to an old friend who had come to stay for a few days. During the course of her visit she found out her boyfriend (who was staying with us also) had been cheating on her. After throwing him out my husband and I offered her to stay with us as long as she needed. In our hotel room. She left that day and never came back. Today I got word she went back to her scummy boyfriend. I really want to just write her out of my life, but I also kind of want to reach out just once more. I'm just not sure what to say without sounding judgemental. Suggestions?

Just a simple statement about "I am here for you if you need me.".should be good.

Leave her be. Some people need to work out their problems their own way. No amount of advice you give her will be heeded unless she asks for it and even that can't be guaranteed. I hope she is able to resolve her issues without it having an impact on her friends.

I'd actually just let her be and not reach out at all. She has made her choice.

You can’t say nothing , unless they tire of the situation nothing you can do but be a friend.

Just leave it all up to her. When she needs you and misses you , I'm sure she will contact you and also let her do her own decisions. Some person won't bother to heed from other persons advice and would just go to what they think is right for them.
