A female pit bull is credited with saving the lives of her owner and a child

Even though Latana Chai and her seven month daughter Masailah lost their home due to a huge fire that broke out before midnight Sunday, they are thankful that their pet dog Sasha who is eight months old alerted them they were in danger when Sasha was in the backdoor barking a lot of times. When Latana went downstairs to find why Sasha was barking a lot, she saw a fire coming out from her neighbors home in the fourplex in Stockton California. When Latana went to get her daughter Masailah who is seven months of age inside her bedroom, Sasha tried to get her out of her bed by hanging on to her diaper. Then Latana called 911 to report the fire to the Stockton Fire Department who came quickly to put out the fire. If there is one thing about pit bulls is that they get a lot of negative press due to the reputation that all pit bulls are mean monsters.
