Two dogs rescued from a house fire in Portland Oregon

Thanks to the alert actions of one man who was awakened by the noise of that sounded like a fire who went outside of his home to see what was going on, was shocked to see a house across the street that was on fire. The man who witnessed the fire across the street in the Lents neighborhood called the local fire department to report the incident. Even though there was no one inside the burning home, two dogs were rescued from the burning home by the firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time by the authorities.
