@purest To me it depends on why she is asking? If she thinks you are going to buy her lots of things then I find a way not to tell her the amount but tell her it is not important.

Congratulations on your new job! I would suggest you to keep it confidential from your girlfriend. It is okay to disclose it to your partner if you are committed for life and take financial decisions together or run a family together.
