120th Independence

Hello everyone.
Today the Philippines is celebrating our 120th years of freedom and independence from Spanish colony. Our country had many wars of Independence with different colonies but this was the last that finally freed our country.
Attached is the photo of the ancestral house of the first Philippine President General Emilio Aguinaldo who declared the independence together with the unfurling of the Philippine flag and the singing of the our national anthem.
I took the photo from inside the van last Saturday when we were in Kawit, Cavite but unfortunately we cannot go down due to the heavy pouring of rain.

here in our city, the tomb of the unknown soldier in the heart of the city is offered big bouquets of flowers.
