Okay, I get it. Robert DeNiro doesn't like the Orange one. Hollywood doesn't like the Orange one. But what DeNiro did last night was inexcusable. At the Tony Awards he walked out and said a word that had to be bleeped in referring to the president. Twice. Some stations didn't get it bleeped. There's a time and a place for everything. Last night was not the time nor the place. In The King of Comedy DeNiro played an obsessive fan who kidnapped a talk show host (brilliantly played by the late Jerry Lewis) in order to get a spot on the talk show. At the end of his monologue DeNiro's character (Rupert Pupkin) said, "Better king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime." You got the latter last night, Bob. A great Bananarama song referencing one of DeNiro's greatest roles:

It's one of the things I hate about the state of this country now. Half of this country won't give Orange man credit if he negotiates world peace, just as half of this country won't give Barack Obama credit if he discovers a cure for cancer.

@FourWalls Yeah, neither side will give an inch, a bit sad really.

What's worse was the thunderous standing ovation. Can you imagine the response had some one said F Obama?

Yes, that was in bad taste, especially on such a televised awards show. Thanks for the song.
