The cat gave good advice

From left, Ally, Mykey and Boobear ..... I took this shot in 2012 on a hot day like today and no one wanted to go outside.

It was a scorcher on the day I took the above shot, somewhere tween 100(f) and 108(f) back in 2012, thankfully the humidity was well under 10%. Today it's supposed to get up to 105(f) so I'll do laundry and let it dry outside. What's going on where you are?

Our thermometer is right around 70 degrees, at this time. It has been cool here, with promises of 80-85 degree weather, this coming week. What are those red blotches, on your white dog's leg?

Ohh those. Mykey had an undercoat of reddish brown blotches kinda like freckles only bigger. It's almost 1 pm and it's already 97(f) but the humidity is only 5%, that makes it easier to breath.

I consider that to be cold. When it reached 40.5(c) here yesterday the humidity was only 3% which makes it almost tolerable.

To me the low 60s is part of late winter @LadyDuck all my winter clothes have been put away or will soon be washed.

At 105F I'd be staying inside. Your washing will be dry within an hour I'd say.

Most of it did dry in less than a half hour, it helps that there is almost no humidity to add to the problems of the heat.

If I had the money I'd travel more especially when it gets either too hot or cold @JudyEv but I'm fairly acclimated so I'm ok with the heat as long as it doesn't get too humid.

@rebelann We don't get a lot of humidity in our summers which makes me very grateful. I don't cope well with high temperatures and/or high humidity. Luckily, being retired, I can mostly avoid both.

That is a long winter for sure @nela13 Usually the winters in my area only lasts at the most 2 months and rarely gets so cold that it actually freezes like it does in the north eastern states of the US.

Isn't the humidity with the 83 kinda hard to take? I can't imagine if I'd like the kind of humidity you get. I hope the storms aren't too bad.

Sunny and windy at the moment. Rain early this morning but it lasted only for 30 minutes. The weather is cool which I really love. Not hot, not cold. Just enough to make me feel comfortable. Going shopping after lunch with my family and I booked a haircut for the boys and a pedi for me at the salon at 4pm.

Oh wow, the last time I can remember rain lasting more than 5 minutes was back in 2006. Have fun today .... hmmm, I ought to see what it's like to get a pedi but then again I'm so dang ticklish on my feet I don't think I would like it.

We've got warmer weather this week with the humidity levels to go with it. Though we don't get near as hot as you. If we did, I wouldn't leave my apartment because it would be horrible outside with the humidity that would generate.
