Time for homemade banana nut bread!

Bananas are on sale right now so picked up a bunch, actually two bunches which were really too many. One can only consume so many in a day as well as dumping them in with strawberries for smoothies. In the LA heat, they ripen quickly so a number got beyond wanting to eat plain. So what to do? Cannot waste them. The solution: mom makes homemade banana nut bread! You know how good that is fresh from the oven. A delicious snack that never grows old.

That looks really scrumptious hope I have spelled that right as I am having big trouble with the internet today and it keeps cutting out on me. I can bet the aroma of that cooking fills up the whole house too. I can just taste it right now. Hope you enjoy eating it also.

@JohnRoberts aw that is so cool she still enjoys baking, in general or just for you. My mom does also and even though she is way better at it then I am, I have learned quite a bit and can honestly say my 'nut breads' are pretty tasty too ! Was it delicious ?

@JohnRoberts True. I don't like eating them when they get a bit squishy.

Banana bread is like one of my favorite things to bake but I haven't done it in a while. Bananas are the best. we just got some, but they only had green bananas so we have to wait for them to ripen to use them.

I love banana nut bread but for some reason it is the one thing I can not make. Don't know why but can't do it. You can also freeze banana's and use them for smoothies when you need them
