I am not eating dinner for a couple of weeks.

One of the things I did after I came back was to check on my weight. All the pounds (not many) I had shed before my holidays were back. So I decided that I´d eat breakfast with bread, butter and something over it, a good lunch and that would be it for the day. The rest have been a couple of mugs with coffee but nothing solid. I hope that my weight goes down a bit. It is imperative for health´s sake that I shed some pounds. But I will write in another post about the times we went to restaurants whikle on vacations. YUM!!!

I haven't eaten dinner for a few years now. Mostly because my acid reflux gives me 'sleep apnea' (or 'night terrors,' tho they're almost always in the morning) if I eat after 6 pm. But I started 'only eating twice a day' because a) I'm limited to $12,000 a year (and the charity of friends & family etc.) & b) a fellow "Bethany First Church of the Nazarene"-member at told me it was healthier to eat only twice a day.

In my country you wouldn´t need charity with that income. I have gained weight these last years..

Hi Marguicha. It is nice to shed some weight. Usually, I do not eat rice. They are sugars and they really give extra pounds.

I wish I could. I´m overweighed but not obese or anything like that. So I´d just want to shed pounds little by little.

I too have to loose weight. I recently came across a very thin gent who mentioned about fasting. I sleep wondering about breakfast, and fasting is something I do before going for a blood test. I'm going to research it for weight loss.

In fact I don't really agree to skip a meal to lose weight. I think the balanced diet is important. You can do more exercises to lose some weights. It will be a healthier method.

I cannot exercise much. And what I mean by skipping dinner was to have maybe a light soup then.

Surely a few biscuits or a light sandwich would not hurt you at night Margi? Looking foreward to reading about how you got on on your Holidays.

Yesterday I had some chicken broth. It was nice because the weather has been very cold. But having put on weight is not helping me at all

@lovinangelsinstead21 I weighted myself today, just for fun, and I´m back to my weight before the holidays. Maybe it was water.

@marguicha Bah, don´t think you will put much weight on with a bit of chicken broth. It would be nice and light and good for you. Or maybe you could water it down a bit and make it a bit lighter I don´t know.

I always eat dinner but because of my husband's work schedule it is always very late. Usually always after 8 pm. On some days between 10 pm -12 am. That is not good I know but if I am to eat with him, which is what I want, it can't be earlier. That is very rare. They say the last meal should be before 6:30 pm.
