Is to have a flying cockroach in the room! I don't care if I looked silly running around and screaming for dear life, but I will not enter that room again until I saw with my own eyes that the cockroach has been eliminated and disposed. I think the fear started when I was 8 or 9 and a roach just flew straight to my forehead, I can still remember it's hairy and scratchy legs running on top of my head and then getting inside my shirt on my back. It was torture! Thank goodness we do not have any pests in our house. But if I have to go to the back of our oldest shed, I start getting sweaty and scared for fear of that pesky crawler.

I was afraid of cockroaches before but not anymore now that I am already grown up.

We don't have roaches, but they wouldn't frighten me as much as spiders and snakes. Those terrify me!!!!!!!

I hate roaches! I still have a scar in my knee from running away from a couple of them in the street.

Ugh I hate them. We had 'non-flying' roaches at work (thanks to the heavens) and they made my skin crawl. Thank God I don't work there anymore

I am not afraid of cockroaches but when they fly is another thing. It is as if they have the upper hand.
