It is a week after the dogs were vaccinated, so my son bathed 3 dogs today. He bathed Chibi the Pomeranian, Xander the Japanese Spitz, and Trixie the local mutt. Since it is not so cold yet, I blow-dried Chibi’s and Xander’s fur. Trixie does not need the blow-drying because she has no thick fur anyway. When the 3 of them are dried up, we let them inside the house. The routine though was not like that. They should shake off the excess water inside the cage, but then, they might run to the lawn and lie there, and the soil might stick to their fur. Bath time is usually at 10:30AM. My son bathes them from Thursday to Saturday. How often do you bathe your dogs, or how often do you bring your dogs to the pet shop for grooming?

Good morning po, Ingrid. I do not remember how many times our former pets were taken a bath.

@ridingbet My niece does not live here in Switzerland, it's not because of the temperature, bathing too often can be detrimental to the dog. It can irritate the skin, damage hair follicles, and increase the risk of bacterial and fungal infections.

really, a once a month bath is good for the dogs? is it because the weather there is cold?

our dogs do not get drenched with rain water, they are called inside the house before the rain gets stronger. but when they are bathed, their furs are like the grasslands brought down by a strong typhoon.

@ridingbet When I had my dog I never bathed her. Your dogs have a good life.

really, no bath for her from the time she was with you till now? we bathe our dogs and not bring them to the pet shop for grooming. that way, they know we do it with love.

well, it is obvious to not bathe a cat, because the weather might be typhoon-y or stormy.
