Saudi Arabia surrendered before Russia in the first match of FIFA World Cup 2018.

Russia defeated Saudi Arabia by 5 goals to nil in the first match in FIFA World Cup 2018. It was a one sided match. In the first half Saudi Arabia conceded 2 goals. But in the second half they surrendered. The Asian teams are required to put in more fight against the Latin American and European teams. Otherwise matches will be one sided.

Thanks Aniko I think Spain are favourites. What happened to Hungary. For the last 2 world cups they are not qualifying at all.

I was surprised at seeing the results. I had expected across match but it was highly one sided. I expect Japan and perhaps Iran to play better.

@sathviksouvik let us hope other Asian countries play much better. By the way there would be a lot of excitement in Kolkata related to the World Cup.
