In the "Old Testament" there are accounts of stoning by death as a punishment for various sins... While in the "New Testament" there was an account of a woman caught in adultery who wants to be put to death by stoning... In the modern times it has been reported that ISIS has stoned to death a man and a woman due to "pre-marital sex". Likewise two gay men has been stoned to death. It was also been reported that a Pakistani women was stoned to death for having a mobile phone... What can you say about stoning to death as a punishment? Does stoning have any place in modern times? It's not something you hear about every day, and certainly not a form of punishment in the US. As for having a place in modern times, it would depend on the country you live in.

I remember someone throwing a stone that hit my head. I didn't like it. So, I'm not one to throw stones as I don't want to hurt anyone.
