Went to see Beautiful - The Carole King Musical

Beautiful - The Carol King Musical has been out for a while but I never went to see it because there were other shows I wanted to see more. I can't just see everything as tickets to Broadway shows are not cheap. When I heard that Melissa Benoist will be starring as Carole King I decided that I will go. Still, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on tickets. The cheapest tickets were $59 a piece and that was with the discount offer. That's pretty good. Of course, I had to pay those pesky fees, so the ticket actually came out to $73. But that's not bad at all, considering that tickets are usually much higher. I was sitting in the mezzanine section on the right side, one row before last. I don't like to sit that high up, however, that row and the last row were the only seats that were at the $59 price. I wasn't sure how the view would be from where I was sitting but it was actually good. And there was no one in the row before me to block my view either. So, I don't regret sitting where I was. Plus, I didn't spend as much money as I would have had I sat closer, which is awesome. I really enjoyed the show and I think Melissa Benoist did a fantastic job playing Carole King. I am so glad I went to see this musical and with her as the lead. She is really talented. She is a great actress and is great at the piano too. And I love her voice. Now that I saw this show, next on my list is Summer - The Donna Summer Musical. I am going to see it in July and I am very excited about that.
