2 countries will change their name today!

Swaziland is now going to be named eSwatini as a celebration from their indepence. I guess it is their way to cut ties from their former colonizers. Also they are tired of being confused from Switzerland.
Macedonia is now going to be named Northern Macedonia
Macedonia will change its name to end it's dispute against Greece because Greece don't want her to use that name. Greece don't want them to use that name because they have a region named Macedonia.
This is going to be a conflict to sellers of printed maps because they have to make changes.
If you can change the name of your country, What name would you give it.

In 2013 we visited Macedonia. We arrived on a train from Serbia and then went to Kosovo. That is very interesting they are changing their name to Northern Macedonia. The new name for Swaziland sounds unusual. Years ago I visited a country called Belize. It used to be called British Honduras. I live in the UK in the part which is called England.

Macedonia got tired of the dispute with Greece so they decided to change it despite of the fact they have other problems that should be prioritized more.

@AKRao24 I use to confuse Austria and Australia when I was a kid. I also use to confuse Georgia the country and Georgia the US state.

That must be the reason they want to change. Czech Republic just changed too. First they are known as Czeckoslovakia, then they become Czech republic. Now they are Czecknia.

One ended in Soviet rule while the other remained with Greece I think.
