Dear Angus,
Sorry that we have left you for a year
We know that you were in good hands
You were a family to us
A fur baby in our family.
When I videochatted home
You were sometimes there
In front of the camera
Searching where my voice came from
If you were not already sleeping.
It was supposed to be a happy day to see you again
And be cuddled in our arms
But we had to take you home from the vet hospital
Where you were spending 2 days for your complicated illness.
When I saw you in the vets cage helpless and sick
When I called you Schatzi, your tail waggled in happiness
You roared and looked at me with tears in your eyes
I know it was a happy tears but we both knew
You were just waiting for us to say you goodbye.
We had a few hours being together at home
You spent your remaining time with us
Although you were in death bed
I felt you were happy to be with us together again.
Rest In Peace Schatz! Till we meet you again
Somewhere, somehow over the rainbow.
Now you are in my garden with my beautiful flowers
Sunflowers, orchids, torenias are all around
You will be in our hearts as long as we live.
Good bye! Visit us whenever you can.
In spirit, until we meet again.

It is never easy to say goobye to our beloved. I am sure he is now at peace with no more pain. That alone can give you consolation. And that he is always with you in your garden. Be comforted of the thought that he's just around when you want to visit him.

@thelme55 likewise my friend i just hope my pet will live longer and be with me as i'm living alone with him for 7 years now

Yes, it is not easy @chavezrmc. I am glad he is just in my garden with the flowers. His grave is well taken care of and a candle is lighted since last Saturday when we buried him. The candle is still giving light for more than 48 hours now.

Hi Thelma. I am sorry for the loss. Angus is in a place where he no longer feels pain or suffering. He will be greatly missed.

Yes, that is true. We miss him very much but I think it is better for him now wherever that is as he no longer feel the pain. @mlgen1037

What a beautiful dog. It is so sad when they die but cherish the fun and happy memories you had with him.

Yes, I am sure of that. He had sense that we were coming. A few days before we flew home, we have talked to him through vediochat and he was searching where our voices came from. Thanks @hereandthere.
