Missing my father today on Father's day

I lost my father when i was just a baby. Today when I see people wishing their fathers a Happy Fathers day i wonder how my life would have been if I had a father while growing up.
So what are your plans this fathers day? Doing anything special for your father

I am sorry to hear that you lost your father when you were just a baby.
However, you have managed to overcome this misfortune.
I don't celebrate such days but I do think of my father every day for his empathy and sacrifice in bringing us up and guiding us - siva

I can understand your emotions and feelings dear friend! No body can substitute our parents for that matter. I too lost my father a decade back and I still miss him a lot ! No there is nothing special about this day ! This is another routine Sunday for us! Thanks!
In fact I posted a discussion about it few months back which can give you an idea how bad I miss him...

I am sorry, my friend. I think your father watches over you and your family.
We will have a simple dinner today at home instead because my dad wants to stay home (he is worried about our neighbor who are doing nasty stuff when no one is at home).
