grudge-noun a persistent feeling of ill will or resentment resulting from a past insult or injury. This is how the dictionary defines grudge. I would say to a certainf extent, I am a person who carries a grudge, by this, I don't mean I wish any harm on any one, but it is more a feeling of I won't forget what they did. There is a woman who is a friend of my aunt by marriage, and is close to her, as a matter of fact they are cousins..she went to my school, we were in the same grade, although I was only bullied in school perhaps 3x two of them were from her. It probably wasn't even technically bullying, and one of them was kind of opportunistic, not like she set out to do it. Anyway, she has tried to friend me on Facebook a few times. I just am not interested. I know the way she made me feel, and I have no desire to interact with her..Is there a difference between that and a grudge? Maybe so..but at t the same time I don't want to be friends with her. Is there anyone in your life like that?

Yes, some times some people left us with frustration and we get agitated with them emotionally! Some times it happens with me also. But I think best thing is to ignore such people and carry ahead. There is no point is having grudge against anyone as at the end we are the losers as we get disturbed and spoil our moods! This is my personal opinion! Thanks!

@snowy22315 , There you are....that is what I meant in fact! Why are you wasting your time and spoiling your mood thinking about her right now? Just chill and have a great day! Thanks!

@snowy22315 , That is what I am saying! People even don't care about the things about which we burn our blood and make our lives miserable! Why after all we are making our lives miserable for them?

I wouldn't really call that a grudge, just you not wanting her in your life.. which I have gone through many times myself. I have however, also held grudges.. mostly to my "dad", ex, and "aunt".

I've held grudges for years - in fact there's are people I went to school with that are on social media that try to add me or have a conversation and I have no interest in them

Yes, that is how I feel, with all the people in the world, I could be friends with, why would I pick you?

No, I don't carry grudges as I like to travel light and there is no point in carrying them.

I don't blame you for not wanting a person like that involved with you on Facebook or otherwise. If that's what holding a grudge means than I'm a grudge holder too

We were kids, as I said, I don't bear her any ill will, but I don't want to be besties with her.

I tend to carry a grudge, a flaw in my character that I try to not indulge in. The worst of them are the ones against my mother and my ex husband. Both were pretty vile people, I just didn't see it at the time I was with them. I don't forgive, I don't have to, but I also don't forget either.

I guess I think sometimes about people who have wronged me, and it makes me not really want to interact with them, not that I think they are terrible or bad..but just they hurt me and it wants to make me keep my distance.

Yes! I was asked a few times by old school mates and I thought " you did not like me in school, what the hell?" I always declined.
