She cannot get over it...

My sister is an OB/GYN, and as a doctor, we often go straight to her for any medical concerns even if it's not within her fields. She would just call her friends who are specialists and would recommend us to go there. Saturday, the 16th of June, as soon as I arrived in my childhood home, my brother gave me a detailed talk about our Uncle (mom's youngest brother) and how he ended up in the hospital and was just waiting for his time to come. It was a motor vehicle accident. During the time that he was telling me, my uncle had his last breath and left this world of ours. My sister couldn't seem to get over the fact that our Aunt and cousins didn't call her immediately to tell her our Uncle's condition. According to them, the doctor found a blood clot in his brain and they just gave him antibiotics for two days and waitedt for the blood clot to just melt before deciding to have a surgery. Uncle was unconscious when brought in the hospital, he never woke up. My sister couldn't believe why they waited for two days and why she wasn't informed at all. I know how she felt. She blames our aunt and cousins. Their reason for not informing her, they were in panic. To her, Uncle died because of a wrong decision in not giving him the surgery. My brother is now booking our flight. He and I are going to General Santos City to attend my Uncle's funeral on the 24th. Three deaths in the family within a span of one year. And I got this strange feeling that more will come this year.

What a horrible shame to lose your young uncle that way. My deepest condolences. I certainly hope you are wrong and won't lose anymore family members.

Oh my goodness, how is it that they waited for two days before deciding for surgery. I am very sorry for your loss. I also had three deaths in the family in the last 12 months and I feel it not finished.

Exactly why my sister is so mad and still can't get over it. I think it's normal for us to feel that way. Older generation won't stay long. It's a fact of life.

My deepest condolences Toni. I would also be feeling like your sister if I am a doctor and wasn't informed at all about the emergency. She could have done something that could have saved your uncle's life but she wasn't informed.

Sorry Bhem, I'm not being superstitious, I'm being realistic. My father's younger sister is getting weaker by the day and she is a sickly woman. Heart and diabetes condition. Older generation in our family are starting to say goodbye into this world. It's a fact. We will eventually lose them.

Nobody's blaming my sister. My sister is blaming my aunt and my cousins. I can see why and I know why and really they are to blame.

Nah, I don't believe in such. Plus I have factual evidences of more deaths to come. My father's younger sister is getting weaker by the day, I was told. I don't understand them because I know exactly why they didn't go for surgery. My aunt is too greedy and selfish. She's afraid to spend money. She'd rather lose a husband.

Because my father's younger sister is not in good health and I've been told she's getting weaker by the day. Diabetes, and she's no longer walking by the way. A lot of complications has set in.
