Tomorrow is what they call in Bengali Hindu culture the Jamai Sasthi. It is the day of the son-in-law. It is a day when sons-in law are invited to their wives' parents. They are fed lavishly and given precious gifts. In a way, they are treated like gods in their father-in-law's house. Jamai means son-in-law and Sasthi means the sixth day. It is celebrated on the sixth day in the month of Asad.
O gods of one day, be careful, you are still humans and your stomachs are still human digestive organs. The mercury is pointing about 42 degree Celcius and what hellish torture the spicy, oily, hot food might inflict on your bellies!
Two years back, a son-in- law in our neighborhood, breathed his last after all the godly treat he was offered on Jamai Sasthi!

All of that spicy food on such a hot day would make someone spontaneously combust! Happy day of the son in law to you!
