Sticky Hot and Humid

Happy Monday Everyone!
It's a summer day here for a Monday morning and it's already 75 degree F. Quite high for this time of morning. The forecast says it will get all the way up to the high 90's or higher by afternoon so summer looks like it's making an appearance even though we have a few more days before it's official.
I have an early afternoon appointment at the dentist for a cleaning so that's no big deal. However, having to go out on the hottest day is not my cup of tea. Usually the parking is crowded so I'm hoping that I can get a spot close by and not have to walk a far distance if it's going to be scorching hot.
I have things I need to get done this morning before I go out so I'll be popping on and off here today as time allows.

We are having a hot and sticky start to our day here as well.
I hope that everything goes well at your appointment this afternoon.
I have to start working full days again as an accounting staff member is out of the country until some time in August.

@Marilynda1225 They had the a/c on really high today at work, so I actually froze, even when I was wearing a sweater. I don't mind working the longer days again, I'm a team member and help out when needed for things like this. Having half days during the summer months would have been really nice though.....maybe next year.

You stay cool too as when it gets too hot it isn't fun for anyone.

It is not hot here. It was cloudy in the morning and rainy in the afternoon. So the temperature is just right.

You would hate Alabama. we have had the hot, as you call it, for 6 weeks now. I absolutely love it, 80 degrees and above is what I love for. No shoes, shorts and a thin shirt. Ponytail for the hair do.

The heat never agreed with me even when I was young. However I love the beach so go figure since it's always hot at the beach.

You have described our weather exactly. Except we may get lucky and get rain. I have a load of jeans on the line, a load in the wash and the possibility of another load sitting in the laundry room. Have a good trip to the dentist. Maybe you will be lucky on the parking spot.

It's perfect weather for drying clothes outside that's for sure. I bet they dry quickly in this heat.

they said we were supposed to be in the 90s today, but so far just 77 with a realfeel of 85. and only 66% humidity. thankfully.
hope you got a good spot at the dentist, and that you get back home where it's hopefully cool.

Arrrgh, I can take the heat if I have to, I can take the rain if I have to but heat and rain together are making me feel like a stale salt lake. Gross is what it is, oh September where are you??

I had to walk around in the heat this AM and this afternoon. I didn't melt fortunately, tomorrow is supposed to be hotter at least until the storms come.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your weekend. We certainly did as well.
It's very hot and humid here, but there is a nice light breeze which made walking very pleasant. My husband is out playing golf with his buddies right now. I did warn him it would be hot, but he doesn't care when he has a club in his hands.
Hope your cleaning goes well. I had mine last month.
