It's A Good Day

I went to the pool this morning. I'm still using my cane, but only as a precaution now. It will probably be my companion from now on.
The good news is the rain we got last night. When I checked rain totals this morning after I got home, we had over 2 inches of much needed rain.
It's a busy day. I'm at my son's to do laundry and wait on a package for my son who is having a bed frame delivered today. I also went over to the church this morning to help out with the offering from yesterday. So, I haven't been home for very long today. I'll most likely be here until 8 tonight at the latest, unless the frame is delivered earlier.
I brought my Chromebook so I could catch up with my notifications, as well as putting Thread of Evidence in Drive so I can work on it while I'm here. I also have something to read, so I won't be bored until I leave.

I hope you get it too. So far the laundry is done, and my son asked me to do his, so his is in the dryer at the moment. I'm just about finished with notifications, and then I'll do some reading, maybe. I'm hoping the frame shows up soon.

@LadyDuck No, I wasn't ready to do stairs yet, and did laundry yesterday at my son's, and it was way to much for my knees and my leg. I can feel the twinge of pain from the pinched nerve as well as the deep knee pain from too much activity on the stairs. I won't be doing stairs again for a while, Saturday at the earliest when I do laundry again. It will only be one load, so it shouldn't be bad.

I have a pinched nerve in my back, so I was hurting bad in my upper thigh, making it difficult to walk. So, I'm going to keep it with me from now on. It's safer that way. I also over did it yesterday, so I'm relying heavily on it again today.

@marlina I am. I got the walker on Friday from the senior center. I'm taking it back tomorrow. I don't need it and I no longer need the cane. So, I'll also be back in the pool tomorrow as well. I'm glad it didn't take as long as I expected to heal.

I've done the usual housework walked at the gym. Then got on a writing kick, afterwards I cooked dinner and made a pie for later. Now I'm in my deck swing. Just finished notifications and my iPad is telling me my battery is low so I'll go charge it.

Yes, and my grandson also took his day off from work. I could have left him there to wait it out, but I promised to take him shoe shopping when the package arrived, as he needs work shoes. One of the reasons he didn't go to work yesterday. Since the package didn't arrive, and it was late, and I promised to take him shopping, today is a basic do over day. I'll be taking him shopping before he goes to work, then wait again for the package to show up.
