How can we spoil ourselves a little without going broke

I always know about saving and conserving but sometimes we just want to make ourselves happy even if the little we have? How can we achieve this without being broke.Do you splurge on yourself a bit,how do you do it without being broke?

@Berrygal @paigea It is okay to splurge and live life a little as long as we do not have loans to pay after. That is much difficult

Have never been able to splurge, but if I did I would have an evening out to dinner.

Never spend more than you are willing to lose. If you want to splurge, make sure you have enough that you do not get buyers remorse with. If you will go broke, yeah you don't need to treat yourself, work and earn the treat.

Yes and no. I like to buy things for my kids, and they say I should spend more on me, but it makes me happy when I buy things for them.

I wanted a treat after work yesterday. But, I came home, made my own treat and enjoyed it in the yard. That way, I can save my money to enjoy going out with friends sometime. I like going to walk or cycle in a park. Paddle my kayak. I have these things, so I remind myself to use them instead of doing things that cost money. When I go with my walking group, for several hours, a thermos of tea waiting in the car stops me from heading to a restaurant.
